The tester is designed to determine the condition in which a single coat or multi-coat system of paint, varnish or similar product dries through its all thickness under standard conditions after a specified period of drying .
DESCRIPTION OF THE TESTER AND TECHNICAL DATA
Work top with ability for level adjustment.
A stainless-steel cylinder is mounted on the work top.
In the cylinder is mounted a piston with stainless steel head and weight.
The piston and the head have handles for rotary and progressive movement.
The cylinder has two grooves through which the piston may be fixed in two operating conditions – top and on the working top.
By means of double adhesive paper, on the piston is a rubber disk with size according to the standard.
A net of woven mono-filament polyamide is attached to the rubber disk through rubber ring in the groove of the head.
